Your firm's workflows, matter-management records, and standard procedures could help train the next generation of AI — and your firm could be paid for licensing them. The check is free, and you keep ownership of your files. Never client files.
Free Data Check Prefer to talk first? Book a 15-minute callA quick guide, not a promise. Your official value comes from the buyer's audit after the free check.
Rough estimate only, based on published AI data-licensing deal ranges. Licensing deals typically start around $50,000.
Four quick checks. If your firm ticks most of these, the free check is worth your ten minutes.
Ticking all four? Take the free check. Missing one? It is still worth checking — firms with strong records have qualified below the usual size.
If your firm has been practicing for years, you are sitting on operational records AI companies need — real-world know-how they cannot get from the public internet. Client files are never part of this.
Case-management workflows, intake procedures, and billing operations from years of practice.
Documented procedures and standard operating practices that show how your firm really works.
Standard forms, templates, and checklists your firm developed over time.
Operational matter records — timelines, process steps, and outcomes — with all client details removed.
Not sure of your headcount? Either check works — the buyer confirms the right route after the free check.
Will any client files be involved?
No. Never client files. Only your firm's own operational data — workflows, procedures, and templates — is ever considered, and everything is de-identified before use.
Do I keep ownership of my files?
Yes. You are licensing your data, not selling it. You keep ownership, and you approve the terms before anything moves forward.
What happens to our data?
Your data is de-identified before it is used to train AI systems. No client names, no private details — only the operational know-how inside your records.
Does it cost anything?
No. The check is free, and there is nothing to pay upfront.
How big does our firm need to be?
Law firms qualify from 10 people up. Firms with 25 or more people use the first check above; firms with 10–24 use the second. If you have the files, it is worth checking — even smaller firms with strong records have qualified.
How do you get paid?
We are paid by the AI buyers, and only if a licensing deal closes. You never pay us anything — the check is free, and there is nothing to pay upfront.
How long does it take?
Smaller firms typically hear back within a few weeks. Once terms are agreed, payment usually follows within 30 days of acceptance.
What will the buyer ask about?
Five things: what kind of data it is, how many records and how many years it covers, whether you own it, whether it contains any personal information, and whether it has been licensed before. If you can answer those, the check goes quickly.
